I grew up in perry county ky, went to school at R. W. COMBS grade school for eight
years then went to one year of high school at the Dilce Combs High School .I then moved to Breathitt County KY,
in 1978.i then finish high school at the Breathitt County High School i grauaded in 1981 .Then i moved back to Perry
County ky, in the fall of 1981 right after high school. I met Charles Hurd in the winter of 1981 and married him
in 1982 i had one son in the winter of 1982 and i had a daughter in the fall of 1988 i have been a stay home mom raising two
kids now that my last child at home is finishing her last year of high school i have decided to go to college online at the
Colorado Technical College and go into the crimnal justice program so i can get a degree in something
that will help me help people who are victims of a crime . I have watched all the crimnal programs on tv so long that
i got interested in the stuff shows like, law and order, crimnal minds, the closer, csi, all the law shows i love to watch
i learn something new from every show. now i have liked college so far but this web portfolio is such a mess for me all those
codes i just can't seem to get it to all flow together. but this web site i learned how to do this in a couple of hours but
the intructor didn't want it done this way i have tried very hard with that web portfolio but it just doesn't seem to work
for me. i have started writing for a local newpaper a couple of years ago people love it when you tell them a opinion
about something especially if your opinion is against someone in the big offices. i have fun writing the articals.i'm now
on my own with my daughter getting ready for college this fall in lexington. my son has been married for seven years with
two great sons of his own and a great wife that takes wounderful care of all of them my son works in the coal mines but he
is off at this time due to an accident which cut half his finger off he is off until it heals he has already had two surgeries
on it he is enjoying the time of to be with his boys dylan and nicholas and wife kim. i love all my family and try to
be with them as much as i can but my health prevents me from doing alot. i have a seizure disorder which i'm trying to keep
under control with medication when i have a seizure it' causes me to forget things like numbers ,dates, some of the things
i have done some people i know things like that but it usually all comes back in about six months.i think that this college
experience is just another fase in my life that is going to learn me new things i have just had three classes so far but i
have already learned alot . i think that learning new things is great it gives me something to do every day. so far life has
dealt me a hard time but i look at it as a lesson learned well and life must go on reguardless of what hand you are
dealt.
